With the network of the Best Member Portal SYSTEM X, codex has developed a digital marketing platform that supports network members in systematically positioning themselves as a regional brand. By means of personal access to the members' portal, users have direct access to the extensive range of information and services. The main focus here is on the possibility of creating individual marketing measures for one's own company and having them sent by selected partners. This is intended to give network members the opportunity to communicate their professional work to the outside world in a targeted manner. The well thought-out concept also convinced the readers of this year's Fliesen & Platten readers' choice and won the title of Product of the Year 2018.

Making network members successful as regional brands

"Today, success is achieved by those who know how to address their customers correctly as a regional brand. In order to become a local brand, it is important to define an individual marketing mix and to use it consistently," comments Fabian Wirth, Marketing Manager of the Network of the Best. The investment sums are usually too high to be financed by a small tiling company. "We, in turn, grant our members access to numerous individual marketing measures for their companies - and at much lower cost," Fabian Wirth continues.

No conception work and service provider search

The platform's offer includes the possibility of individual business equipment, work clothing, construction site tarpaulins and even personalised customer gifts, which the tiler can obtain at special conditions. "We have developed a concept for the platform that is ideally suited to the needs of tilers," reports Mario Meuler, Managing Director of codex GmbH & Co. KG. "For this concept work, a tiler would have to commission an agency and look for a suitable advertising partner. We have already done all this for him".

Marketing support, knowledge transfer and exchange of experience

The "Network of the Best" was launched by codex in 2007. In the meantime, almost 1,300 professional tilers are registered and active there. The network supports its members with the three pillars of marketing support, knowledge transfer and the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with colleagues in the industry. "In recent years, we have continually expanded the topic of marketing support in particular," Meuler continues. "We have found that this is of great importance for our customers. Our members have already been able to obtain a complete and individualised range of workwear from us, as well as offer folders, door hangers or an individualised customer magazine. This platform is therefore the logical further development of this and brings all offers together centrally".
